Being offered is this Space Shuttle Tire and Wheel that were surplussed from NASA Langley Research Center. ...my research has not been able to verify that Bridgestone Tires were ever used on the Space Shuttle, so this tire and wheel most likely were a part of the Space Shuttle Tire Testing Program preformed at NASA Langley Research Center. Anyone with other information please feel free to share. Tire tread shows wear as does the wheel. Tire is stamped Bridgestone Airplane Tire and is marked with the following information: Boeing Part No on tire is S160T201-342 or S160T201-3421 H46x18.0-20 28PR APS01412-A Speed Rating 225 MPH Load Rating 44200 LBS Manufactured on 24th of May, 1988 Bendix Rim is stamped with the following information: H46x18-20 or H45x17-20 PN2606942 Manufactured on 5-91
